About
Hi, I’m Lorena
Psychologist, trained in microbiota, digestive health and psychological well-being. Founder of High Protein World.
Why I started this site
I wanted high-protein food I actually look forward to eating: not plain chicken and rice every day, and not a diet that feels like a punishment. Just real meals that keep you full, taste good and fit into a busy week.
As a psychologist, I know how much our habits, mood and relationship with food shape what ends up on the plate. So this site isn’t only about macros, but also about feeling satisfied and building routines you can keep.
Who this site is for
High Protein World is for people who want to eat more protein without following a strict diet: busy workers who need lunches that keep them full, people who train and want simple meals that support their goals, and anyone who is tired of choosing between food that tastes good and food that is good for them.
You don’t need special equipment or hard-to-find products. Most recipes use supermarket ingredients, many are ready in 30 minutes or less, and every recipe tells you exactly how much protein and how many calories you get per serving.
The numbers on every recipe
- Proteinper serving
- Protein Scoreg per 100 kcal
- Caloriesper serving
- Timereal total
Calculated with USDA FoodData Central data. They are estimates: brands and portions change the real numbers a little. How I calculate them.
Why gut health and psychology matter here
I pair protein with fiber, vegetables, legumes and fermented foods like Greek yogurt, because a varied diet is good for your gut as well as your muscles. And I look at what makes a meal satisfying and easy to repeat on a tired Tuesday.
